bungalow concrete stain did it myself garage track lighting under $500Project Details
Created by Chris CardyHere is how I how spruced up my garage for $50. Highlights would be, $10 worth of hooks from HomeDepot to get everthing off the ground. Paint was left over from previous projects. The cabinet I put on the wall I found and the concrete stain for the floor is $20 per gallon.
I want to say more about that concrete stain. Its nifty. Mason's Select. www.superdeck.com is the address they give on their brochure. I applied it with a sponge mop. I did a flashy job on the conrete floor of my showroom at Delia but here in my garage I just wanted to cover up all the stains and leaking fluids from my cars. So i just swept and applied. No sealer. I think it looks a hundred times better than the raw concrete.
And color. I used the terra cotta. I had little samples of many of the colors and found the terra cotta was the strongest. The black doesn't work well. some of the greens are nice but muted.
All in all, I'm satisfied. $50. 14 hours of labor.
