To understand how much I love my washing machine you have to know that i lived 10 years w/o one. To minimize the experience I slowly built up an enormous collection of essentials so i could hold out for almost 6 weeks and then I'd slam the big commercial washers.

Anyway, when i moved into my house the first thing i bought,even before a refrigerator was a washer and dryer. SEARS. no interest credit card. Kenmore. I bought this one because it seemed like it had nice features but it wasnt until i started using it I learned what a miracle machine it is. 

I'm no expert, so this kind of knowledge may be common. It wasnt to me. The front loader process is great. Uses a third of the normal quantity of detergent, about a tablespoon. Because it spins the clothes the way it does they come out nearly dry. So, less time in the Dryer. And it works like a champ. Whites are sparkling. And lots of energy friendly cylces. 

Add up tiny amount of detergent, less drying time, whiter and cleaner and you get one fabulous home appliance.
