Here is my house and the colors I painted. As I wrote in the blog of 7/27/07 I was inspired to pick these colors because I thought it reflected the colors of life here in Oregon. Browns and Blues. It also doesnt help that according to everyone else I'm color blind. I dont think so but I have a hard time proving it.

Somehow I got to the age of of 39 without ever having to completely paint a house. I didnt know how lucky I was. It started in the Spring with the scraping and the cleaning. I also had a lot of windows and trim work to fix which slowed things. Painting the main part went pretty quickly. My rule of thumb for painting is calculate the time it will take and then double it.

I also like the fact that I'm the only house with these colors. Maybe I should think about that?
