Created by sdlBefore I moved into my house, I never saw a feature like this before. The windows meet in the corner of the room. They are in the living room, dining room, and one of the bedrooms. This presented a challenge in hanging curtains. If two separate rods and all the necessary hardware butted up against each other in the corner it would become visually cluttered as well as crowded thus not an option since I wanted a 'finished' look. I looked everywhere for solutions. The only thing I found that would solve my problem was a flimsy curtain rod with a large and rather ugly joint in the middle, allowing it to bend at a 90 degree angle. This clever hardware came in several cheap looking faux finishes. My new curtains remained thumb tacked to their wooden frame for little over a year. Ultimately I designed and welded together a curtain rod system for each set of windows; doubles for the LR, DR and a single for the office and cafe style for the BR. The rods are 3/8ths inch steel with three 5/16ths inch steel supports. Custom work is they way to go in order to get the look you want. If you can't do this yourself, support a local artist. Materials, $20.00.

Where did you get the curtains from? Nice work. And the pictures are good. I can really see what you are doing. And $20. can't beat that.
